CYP Counsellor
We are specifically looking for an experienced CYP counsellor to provide 2-11 hours of counselling over Primary Schools in Altrincham. We have a 2 hour, 4 hour and 5 hour contracts and would be willing to split or combine as appropriate. Times and days of the week can be flexible and discussed at interview.
Qualifications

Recognised Counselling Qualification

Experience working with children or has taken additional training working with children

Proficiency in IT for documentation and record-keeping

We are The Counselling & Family Centre, a local charity that has been at the heart of the community for over 40 years. From the age of 5, up through the teens and into adulthood and on, we are here for whatever life throws at you.
What we do
We are committed to helping the most vulnerable in society and provide a hub for the entire community. We help our clients achieve their ambitions through support groups and counsellor led activities such as our allotment project, an art club and mindfulness sessions. Our volunteer programme helps people back into work using the skills they have accumulated over a lifetime. Additionally, we offer a wide range of training for counsellors, related professions and people working in education and business. Interview
If invited for interview, you will be interviewed by the clinical lead and the children services manager. We will ask you to please bring the originals of all relevant qualifications, proof of CPD and any further appropriate documentation, for example, professional membership, insurance and DBS.
