Support in Schools

When children and young people are using lots of energy trying to manage family upsets and other emotional difficulties, the capacity to learn is severely hampered. We know that reduction in emotional stress resulting from specialised counselling can make a whole world of difference to what the student can achieve educationally

Why counselling is important
10% of children and young people aged between 5 and 16 will experience mental health issues. Good mental and emotional wellbeing is an integral part of children and young people’s holistic development; when this development is inhibited, counselling can be an effective and important resource.
